14 best tacos on the Las Vegas Strip for 2026

You can find great tacos all along the Las Vegas Strip
You can find great tacos all along the Las Vegas Strip

Deciding who has the best tacos on the Las Vegas Strip is subjective. Everyone has a favorite spot they swear by.

And honestly, a place loved by one person might be hated by the next. You will likely see that divide with several restaurants on this list.

The Strip has everything from cheap eats to fine dining, and tacos are no exception. You can grab them from a window at 3 AM or order them at a white-tablecloth restaurant.

While you can find decent tacos anywhere in town, I wanted to find the ones actually worth eating on the Strip. On my recent visit, I ate my way down Las Vegas Boulevard to compile this list of 14 of the best tacos on the Las Vegas Strip.

1 – Tacos de Adobada at Tacos El Gordo

Tacos de Adobada at Tacos El Gordo, Las Vegas
Tacos de Adobada at Tacos El Gordo

Founded in 1988 in San Diego, Tacos El Gordo has become one of the most famous locations in Las Vegas for tacos. You will see a line wrapping around the building at almost any hour of the day at their location across the street from Resorts World.

The Vibe & Service: This place is chaotic, loud, and busy. It is not a sit-down restaurant where a server comes to your table. You have to work for your food here. There are specific lines for different meats, so if you want adobada and your friend wants carne asada, you have to split up and stand in different lines. It can be confusing for first-timers, but the servers carving the meat are fast and efficient.

The Tacos: While they are known for sopes, mulas, and quesadillas, most people visit for the tacos. On my visits, I always order the Tacos de Adobada. These spicy pork tacos come with fresh sliced marinated pork, onions, cilantro, and green salsa on a homemade corn tortilla. The meat is shaved right off the trompo (vertical spit) in front of you. It is hot, salty, and incredibly savory.

The Verdict: The confusing ordering system is stressful, but the adobada is the best on the Strip.

Address: 3041 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Hours: Sun – Thu: 10AM – 2AM; Fri – Sat: 10AM – 4AM

2 – Tacos al Pastor at Tacos El Pastor

Tacos al Pastor at Tacos El Pastor, Las Vegas
Tacos al Pastor at Tacos El Pastor

Located right next door to Tacos El Gordo is the frequently confused Tacos El Pastor. Many tourists walk into this shop thinking it is the famous spot next door. While it may not be as popular, I actually think the tacos here are better than the ones at Tacos El Gordo.

The Vibe & Service: The setup here is very similar to its neighbor. You stand in a specific line to order based on what you want, whether it is tacos, burritos, nachos, or fries. You choose your filling from options like pastor, asada, chorizo, and carnitas. The main difference is the crowd. It is usually slightly less chaotic here, which makes getting your food much faster.

The Tacos: My go-to order is the tacos al pastor. These tacos are small, but the meat is the star. It is tender, crispy, moist, and salty straight off the spit. The creamy and tangy green sauce cuts through the fat perfectly. The soft corn tortilla is lightly grilled and holds it all together without falling apart.

The Verdict: Less hype and shorter lines than El Gordo, but the flavor is just as good, if not better.

Tacos El Pastor
Address: 3049 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Hours: Mon – Thu: 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM; Fri – Sat: 10:00 AM – 4:00 AM; Sun: 10:00 AM – 12:00 AM

3 – Carnitas Taco at China Poblano

Carnitas Taco at China Poblano in The Cosmopolitan

China Poblano, located at The Cosmopolitan, is one of the more unique restaurants on this list. Created by celebrity chef José Andrés, the restaurant creatively blends Mexican and Chinese cuisines.

The Vibe & Service: This is a fun, high-energy spot. It feels less like a stiff fine-dining restaurant and more like a bustling street market. If you have the chance, grab a seat at the counter where you can watch the chefs steaming dim sum and pressing fresh tortillas.

The Tacos: While dim sum and ceviche might seem like an unusual combination, it works here. The tacos are crafted with tortillas made fresh from heirloom Oaxacan corn. I enjoy the Carnitas Taco, which comes with a generous amount of braised pork, crispy chicharrón, onions, cilantro, and salsa verde. The contrast between the tender pork and the crunchy pork skin is fantastic.

The Verdict: These are the most expensive tacos on the list, but the high-quality handmade tortillas make them worth the splurge.

China Poblano
Address: 3708 Las Vegas Blvd S Level 2, Boulevard Tower, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas)
Hours: Sun – Thu: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Fri – Sat: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

4 – Negra Modelo Beer Battered Fish Tacos at Nacho Daddy

Negra Modelo Beer Battered Fish Tacos at Nacho Daddy in the Miracle Mile Shops

Nacho Daddy is a popular restaurant located in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. They are also featured on my list of the best late night eats on the Las Vegas Strip if you are looking for a late-night meal.

The Vibe & Service: This place is always happening. Whether it is 2:00 PM or 2:00 AM, it is loud, busy, and packed with people. Because it is inside the Miracle Mile Shops, it attracts a big tourist crowd, so do not be surprised if there is a wait. It is not the most authentic Mexican spot, but the place is fun.

The Tacos: As the name suggests, they are known for gourmet nachos, but the tacos are worth a try. I am a fan of the Negra Modelo Beer Battered Fish Tacos. The fish is fresh and flaky, but the standout is the batter. It is airy and crispy without being greasy. The mango salsa adds a nice sweetness that balances the heat from the Serrano aioli.

The Verdict: It is touristy and loud, but the fish tacos are surprisingly solid and perfect for soaking up drinks late at night.

Nacho Daddy
Address: 3663 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside Miracle Mile Shops)
Hours: Sun – Wed: 8:00 AM – 2:00 AM; Thu – Sat: 8:00 AM – 3:00 AM

5 – Koreantown Tacos at Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen

Koreantown Tacos at Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen in The LINQ

Love him or hate him, Guy Fieri is all over Las Vegas. He has several restaurants on the Strip, but the one I visit most often is Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen at The LINQ.

The Vibe & Service: As you might expect from the Mayor of Flavortown, this place is loud, bold, and full of energy. It features American flag decor and rock music blasting through the speakers. It is a great spot if you are with a group and want big portions and strong drinks. If you want a quiet romantic dinner, go somewhere else.

The Tacos: While the “Koreantown” Tacos are the only taco option on the menu, they might be my favorite on this list. This taco is made with marinated thin-cut ribeye, avocado-lime mash, kimchi, pico de gallo, and spicy mayo on a corn tortilla. The beef has a bold sweet and salty umami flavor that pairs perfectly with the crunchy, tangy kimchi and creamy avocado.

The Verdict: The restaurant is loud, but these tacos are delicious and worth the price.

Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen
Address: 3535 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside: The LINQ Hotel)
Hours: Mon – Thu: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Fri – Sun: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM

6 – Combination Tacos at Gonzalez y Gonzalez

Crispy Tacos at Gonzalez y Gonzalez in New York-New York, Las Vegas
Crispy Tacos at Gonzalez y Gonzalez in New York-New York

I walked by Gonzalez y Gonzalez in the New York-New York Hotel countless times before finally stopping in. It is located along Village Street inside the hotel, which is designed to look like a New York City neighborhood. The restaurant is open to the walkway, so it feels like you are eating outside on a busy corner.

The Vibe & Service: This is a fun, casual spot to grab a drink and some food without needing a reservation. It is colorful, loud, and perfect for people watching if you can grab a table near the front.

The Tacos: The taco selection is small, but it covers the basics: beef, chicken, carnitas, fish, and carne asada. I like to order the Combination Tacos with Beef, Chicken, and Carnitas.

  • Beef: Smoky, salty, and tender. It melts in your mouth with a bold, beefy flavor.
  • Chicken: Moist with a smoky tomato flavor.
  • Carnitas: Chunks of tender, flavorful pork.

While the shells are just simple crunchy corn tortillas, they hold up well and add a nice texture.

The Verdict: It is nothing fancy, but if you are craving old-school crunchy tacos and a margarita, this place hits the spot.

Gonzalez y Gonzalez
Address: 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside New York-New York Hotel)
Hours: Mon – Thu: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Fri: 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM; Sat: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Sun: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Bar Hours: Sun – Thu: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Fri: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Sat: 12:00 PM – 3:00 AM

7 – Barbacoa Tacos at Hussong’s Cantina

Barbacoa Tacos at Hussong’s Cantina in The Shoppes at Mandalay Place

Hussong’s Cantina is located inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place, the mall connecting Mandalay Bay and Luxor. This spot is an outpost of the legendary Hussong’s in Ensenada, Mexico, which claims to be the birthplace of the margarita.

The Vibe & Service: It is loud, festive, and unpretentious. They often have a rock-and-roll mariachi band playing, which makes for a fun atmosphere. It is a great place to stop for a drink and a bite while walking between casinos.

The Tacos: The menu has a mix of traditional options like carnitas and specialty choices like burnt ends. I like the Barbacoa Tacos. The shredded beef is tender, topped with onions, fresh cilantro, salty queso fresco, and tangy pickled red onions on a soft flour tortilla. Best of all, the order comes with rice, beans, and complimentary chips and salsa, which is getting harder to find on the Strip.

The Verdict: It is not gourmet, but it is solid, filling comfort food. The combination of the salty cheese and pickled onions makes these tacos a winner.

Hussong’s Cantina
Address: 3930 Las Vegas Blvd S Suite 121B, Las Vegas, NV 89119 (located inside The Shoppes At Mandalay Place)
Hours: Mon – Thu: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM; Fri – Sat: 11:00 AM – 12:00 AM; Sun: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

8 – Baja Fish Tacos at Yolös Mexican Grill

Baja Fish Tacos at Yolos Mexican Grill in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas

Near Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood, right in the middle of the casino floor, is Yolös Mexican Grill. This sleek yet casual restaurant is known for their menu that blends traditional Mexican favorites with an international twist. This includes flavors from the Caribbean, South America, and the Pacific Rim. Additionally, they are known for their selection of over 60 tequilas and their margarita bar.

Yolös Mexican Grill offers a great selection of both specialty and street tacos. Specialty options include al pastor, quesabirria, and pork belly. Street taco choices keep it simple with grilled chicken, carne asada, and carnitas.

Seafood isn’t the first thing that comes to mind in the middle of the desert, but you can’t go wrong with the Baja Fish Tacos. The fish here is flakey, moist, and cooked to perfection while the golden brown breading is crunchy, airy, and light with a rich and salty flavor. Add crispy cabbage, tangy pineapple relish, creamy lime crema, crunchy pickled onion, and fresh cilantro, and you have one of the best fish tacos on the Las Vegas Strip.

What to order: Baja Fish Tacos

Yolös Mexican Grill
Address: 3667 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside Planet Hollywood)
Restaurant Hours: Mon – Fri: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Sat – Sun: 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM

9 – Shrimp Tacos at Cabo Wabo Cantina

Shrimp Tacos at Cabo Wabo Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops, Las Vegas
Shrimp Tacos at Cabo Wabo Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops

I know Cabo Wabo Cantina is a tourist spot. But, I still enjoy it for the central location. Founded by rocker Sammy Hagar, it is one of the best spots on the Strip for people-watching if you can grab a table on the patio.

The Happy Hour: This is one of the best values on the Strip. Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, they offer great drink specials and street tacos for a bargain.

The Tacos: If you miss happy hour, I recommend the Shrimp Tacos. They are simple. You get large, plump shrimp served on a soft flour tortilla with shredded lettuce, chipotle aioli, tomatoes, and pickled onions. All it needs is a squeeze of lime and a dash of Tapatio.

The Verdict: It is loud and crowded, but the patio views and cold drinks make it a great pit stop in the middle of the day.

Cabo Wabo Cantina
Address: 3663 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside Miracle Mile Shops)
Hours (Open Daily):
Brunch: Mon – Thu: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM; Fri – Sun: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

10 – Grilled Mahi Tacos at El Segundo Sol

Grilled Mahi Taco and Chicken Tinga Taco at El Segundo Sol in Fashion Show Las Vegas
Grilled Mahi Taco and Chicken Tinga Taco at El Segundo Sol in Fashion Show Las Vegas

El Segundo Sol sits right across the street from the Wynn. It is located right on the sidewalk outside the Fashion Show Mall, but people still walk right past it. That is a mistake. Once you step inside, the restaurant feels like a Mexican hacienda with old trees and hanging lights. It is a great escape from the concrete of the Strip.

The Vibe: The atmosphere is arguably the best on this list. It feels hidden and relaxed, making it perfect for a midday break or a dinner date.

The Tacos: Since the happy hour tacos are gone, I recommend the Taco Platters. They are pricier, but you get three tacos served on house-made corn tortillas along with cilantro rice and black beans. My favorite is the Grilled Mahi, which comes with a generous piece of fish, poppyseed slaw, pico de gallo, and chipotle crema. The Grilled Chicken is also a solid option, featuring a piloncillo-chili rub and citrus squeeze.

The Verdict: It isn’t the cheapest option, but the quality of the fresh tortillas and the vibe make it worth the stop.

El Segundo Sol
Address: 3200 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside Fashion Show Las Vegas)
Hours: Open daily 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Happy Hour: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Mon – Thu)

11 – Mini Tacos at Sayulitas Mexican Food

Mini Tacos at Sayulitas Mexican Food, Las Vegas
Mini Tacos at Sayulitas Mexican Food

Sayulitas Mexican Food is a family-owned spot located on the far south end of the Strip, right across from Mandalay Bay. Even though it is on Las Vegas Boulevard, it feels like a local neighborhood taco shop rather than a tourist trap. They are known for blending traditional Mexican food with Filipino flavors.

The Food: The menu is huge, but you are here for the tacos. You can choose from options like chicken, beef, carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, fish, or shrimp.

The Tacos: I recommend the Mini Tacos. You can mix and match meats like carnitas, chicken, and carne asada. Despite the name, they are packed with meat, guacamole, cilantro, and onions on soft corn tortillas. Don’t forget to grab some house-made salsa from the bar to spice things up.

The Verdict: It is open late (until 3:00 AM on weekends), making it the perfect stop after a night out.

Sayulitas Mexican Food
Address: 3999 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119
Hours: Sun – Wed: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM; Thu: 8:00 AM – 2:00 AM; Fri – Sat: 8:00 AM – 3:00 AM

12 – Street Tacos at Cañonita Street Taqueria

Pork Carnitas Taco and Chicken Tinga Taco at Cañonita in the Grand Canal Shoppes, Las Vegas
Pork Carnitas Taco and Chicken Tinga Taco at Cañonita in the Grand Canal Shoppes

The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian can be a total maze. Cañonita sits right along the canal, so you can watch the gondolas go by while you eat. The sit-down restaurant is nice, but I usually just hit up the Street Taqueria truck parked right out front.

The Vibe: It is quick, cheaper, and you get the same quality food as the people sitting inside. The best part is the tortillas. They are made in-house, soft, and fresh, so they don’t fall apart when you take a bite.

The Tacos: My order is usually one Carnitas and one Chicken. The carnitas is packed with shredded pork that is tender and salty. The chicken has a nice chipotle kick and comes topped with fresh lettuce. Make sure to ask for the arbol salsa on the side. It is creamy, smoky, and has a real kick.

The Verdict: If you are lost in the Venetian and need a quick lifesaver, this is it.

Cañonita Street Taqueria
Address: 3377 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian)
Hours: Mon – Thu: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Fri – Sun: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Happy Hour: Mon – Thu: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

13 – Sustainable Whitefish Tacos at Border Grill

Border Grill is a vibrant spot inside Mandalay Bay, run by the legendary “Two Hot Tamales,” chefs Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. They were serving modern Mexican food before it was cool, and the restaurant reflects that with bright colors and a high-energy vibe.

The Menu: This is not a cheap eats spot. The prices are higher than a taco truck, but you are paying for sustainably sourced, organic ingredients. They focus on food that feels light and healthy without sacrificing flavor. Note that the menus change by time of day.

The Tacos: If you are there for lunch or weekend brunch, get the Sustainable Whitefish Tacos. These are their signature tacos. You can get them grilled or fried, topped with spicy cabbage slaw and salsa macha aioli on homemade corn tortillas. If you visit for dinner, the whitefish isn’t usually on the menu, so I recommend the Vampiro Shrimp Tacos. These come on a red chile cheese tortilla with house chorizo and guacamole.

The Verdict: It is a bit pricey, but the fresh ingredients and the handmade tortillas make it worth the splurge.

Border Grill
Address: 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89119 (located inside Mandalay Bay)
Hours: Mon – Fri: 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM; Sat – Sun: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

14 – Crunchy Taco Supreme at Taco Bell Cantina

Crunchy Tacos at Taco Bell Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops, Las Vegas
Crunchy Tacos at Taco Bell Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops

I know what you are thinking. Taco Bell? On a list of the best tacos in Las Vegas? Hear me out. This isn’t your average drive-thru. This is the flagship Taco Bell Cantina.

The Vibe: Located right on the Strip, this spot often has a DJ, a bouncer, and a line out the door like a nightclub. It offers an upgraded interior, digital ordering kiosks, and most importantly, alcohol.

The Tacos: The menu is the same one you know and love, but everything tastes better here. I stick to the classic Crunchy Taco Supreme. It is simple but satisfying with seasoned beef, cool sour cream, and fresh lettuce in a crunchy shell. Since this is Vegas, the pro move is to pair your taco with a beer or one of their famous boozy Twisted Freezes.

The Verdict: It is open 24 hours, affordable, and fun. Sometimes, after a long night out, a crunchy taco and a cold drink are exactly what you need.

Taco Bell Cantina
Address: 3717 S Las Vegas Blvd Suite 140-A, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (located inside Miracle Mile Shops)
