Welcome! My name is Anthony, also known as The Travel Mentor.
For over 25 years, my passion for travel has taken me across the world, from islands off the coast of Australia to tiny bars in Tokyo.
I love to travel, whether to another state or another country. So far, I have been fortunate enough to explore more than 50 countries on four continents. I will never take it for granted.
To me, travel is more than just a hobby. Travel has changed me, for better and for worse. My journeys have opened my mind, heart, and eyes to different people, cultures, and foods.
Little did I realize when I started traveling that I would be able to have friends all across the world—many of whom have visited me in California. When I started traveling, I never would have thought this would happen.
Leaving home for extended periods can be challenging, and travel is not easy, despite what social media shows.
When you travel, you will encounter hardships. There will be many highs and lows. But this is what makes traveling so fulfilling. And hopefully, you will come home as a better person.
