13 of the best cheap breakfast on the Las Vegas Strip

The Las Vegas Strip is home to delicious yet cheap breakfast and brunch options

Growing up in California, I have lost track of how many times I have visited Las Vegas. While most visit Las Vegas for the gambling, nightlife, and partying, I visit for the food. Las Vegas has it all from Michelin star celebrity chef restaurants to hole-in-the-wall eateries. And, everything in between.

One of my favorite things about traveling to Las Vegas is being able to eat at new breakfast and brunch spots. Even after all these years, I seem to stumble upon new places each and every trip. If the breakfast is good, I will hunt it down no matter if it’s on the Las Vegas Strip, in downtown, Summerlin, or Henderson. Heck, I would even drive to Mesquite for a great breakfast. But, for the purpose of this post, I will stick to the Las Vegas Strip.

While Las Vegas can be an expensive city to eat in, especially for breakfast and brunch, you can still find great deals, even on the Las Vegas Strip. And by cheap, I mean $10 or less. Yes, you read that right. You can still eat breakfast for less than $10 on the Las Vegas Strip.

This is my list of 13 of the best cheap breakfast on the Las Vegas Strip. And even though these choices are cheap, it doesn’t mean they aren’t delicious or lack in flavor or quality. They are all worth a visit.

Planning a trip to Las Vegas? I recommend a guidebook such as Fodor's Las Vegas for the best places to visit and eat. The Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas is also great for finding hidden spots. These guides really help me make the most of my trips and I think they can help you too!

$6.99 Breakfast Special

Our first stop on the list of the best cheap breakfast on the Las Vegas Strip brings us to La Salsa Cantina, located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. While La Salsa Cantina won’t win any awards for their food, it just might be one of the best deals for breakfast in Las Vegas. This casual Mexican eatery is popular for their $6.99 breakfast special served daily until noon. This breakfast includes two eggs any style, southwest potatoes, and your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage. You also have the choice of tortillas (corn or flour) or Texas toast. While far from the best breakfast in town, you just can’t beat this deal for the amount of food, especially in a city as expensive as Las Vegas.

I lied. You can beat the deal at La Salsa Cantina. Located directly across from La Salsa Cantina is Blondies Sports Bar & Grill, a popular spot for pub grub, beer, and watching sports. But, did you know they serve an even cheaper breakfast special? From 8:00AM to 11:00AM, you can get yourself a big breakfast burrito or a breakfast plate made with two eggs any style, bacon or sausage, and country potatoes. All of this for only $3.99. Though cheap and simple, the breakfast plate is made with fresh eggs, crispy bacon, and filling potatoes mixed with grilled onions. This might be one of the best breakfast deals on the Las Vegas Strip. It might be one of the best deals in all of Las Vegas.

3 – Eggslut

The Bacon, Egg & and Cheese Sandwich
The Bacon, Egg & and Cheese Sandwich

If you are on Instagram, then odds are you have seen photos of Eggslut, a popular breakfast spot founded in Los Angeles in 2011. Since starting out as a food truck, Eggslut has expanded to locations in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, London, Seoul, and Tokyo. At each of these locations, including inside the Cosmopolitan, you can expect a line. But, the wait is worth it for their opulent breakfast sandwiches served on freshly baked brioche buns. I always go for the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Sandwich ($9.00) with hardwood smoked bacon, over medium egg, cheddar cheese, and chipotle ketchup on a warm brioche bun. A delectable delight. If you are looking for the perfect hangover food, this is it. Other than breakfast, Eggslut serves a great cheeseburger.

4 – Village Pub and Cafe

The $9.99 Steak & Eggs Special at the Village Pub & Cafe
The $9.99 Steak & Eggs Special at the Village Pub & Cafe

While technically not located on the Las Vegas Strip, I couldn’t make a cheap eats post without including the Village Pub & Cafe. This restaurant is located inside Ellis Island, just east of the strip down Flamingo. In the past, the Village Pub & Cafe was known to locals and in-the-know foodies, but lately it seems everyone knows about their $9.99 Steak & Eggs Special. This special includes a steak cooked to your liking, two eggs any style, potatoes, and a choice of toast. While the price is cheap and the food simple, the steak is anything but. The steak is fresh and cooked to order until seared perfectly on the outside. This special is available between 11:00PM to 11:00AM. Be sure to ask your server for the special as you won’t find it on the menu.

5 – Ocean One Bar & Grille

Ocean One Bar & Grille located in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood claims to be the busiest restaurant in Las Vegas. This may be true as every time I walk by the restaurant, it’s packed. And, this is because of their $5.99 lunch menu which includes appetizers, tacos, salads, sandwiches, wraps, and chef specialties. Ocean One Bar & Grille also serves breakfast daily from 7:30AM to 12:00PM. While the breakfast choices are more than $5, they are all less than $10. This includes omelets, egg dishes, and specialties such as buttermilk pancakes, a smoked salmon platter, and biscuits & gravy. While their food won’t win any awards, for the price, it’s a great value. Other than food, they are well known for their 3-for-1 drink special and $3 beers.

6 – PBR Rock Bar & Grill (Closed)

Classic Breakfast at PBR Rock Bar & Grill
Classic Breakfast

While not the cheapest option at the Miracle Mile Shops, I can’t write a list of cheap breakfast options without including PBR Rock Bar & Grill located at Planet Hollywood. This bull riding themed restaurant is busy at all hours of the day. If you can’t find the restaurant, just look out for the large silver bull hanging from the façade of the restaurant, next to the Miracle Mile Shops entrance. If you are looking for something cheap and filling, order the Classic Breakfast ($5.95). This plate includes two eggs any style, bacon or sausage patties, tater tots or mixed fruit, and bread or Texas toast. While the potatoes served at Blondies Sports Bar & Grill are better, I can never say no to tater tots. Breakfast is served all day, so you can enjoy breakfast at PBR Rock Bar & Grill at any hour of the day.

7 – The Crack Shack

The Senor Croque, The Crack Shack, Las Vegas
The Senor Croque

I had to make one exception by including a restaurant with items over $10. The Crack Shack is a fast casual restaurant popular for its fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, and sauces. It was founded by celebrity chef Richard Blais from such shows as Top Chef. While most visit for the fried chicken, The Crack Shack does offer breakfast sandwiches. This includes the BAE ($11.00) made with bacon, avocado, and egg, and the Senor Croque ($13.00) made with crispy Jidori chicken, bacon, fried egg, cheddar cheese, and miso-maple butter on a brioche bun. While more than $10, I think the extra cost is well worth it for such a unique and flavorful sandwich. The tender chicken breast, over easy egg, crispy bacon, umami miso-maple butter, and toasted bun is something special.

What to order: Senor Croque, BAE

Address: 3770 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

8 – Earl of Sandwich

Bacon, Egg ‘n’ Cheddar Sandwich, Earl of Sandwich, Las Vegas
Bacon, Egg ‘n’ Cheddar Sandwich

Earl of Sandwich is one of my favorite spots in Las Vegas for a late night, carb heavy, warm sandwich that is both affordable and delicious. This deli-style sandwich spot, located inside Planet Hollywood, is well known for their artisan sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups. Sandwiches served here are prepared fresh to order with high quality ingredients and soft bread. Though most popular at night, you can still find a line of people waiting in the morning for breakfast. Served until 11:00AM, the breakfast menu features an assortment of breakfast sandwiches served on artisan bread. All sandwiches are less than $5. If you enjoy Egg McMuffins, then you will enjoy these sandwiches.

What to order: any breakfast sandwich including bacon, egg ‘n’ cheddar, ham, egg ‘n’ cheddar, or breakfast BLT

9 – District: Donuts. Sliders. Brew

The decadent Scrambled Egg & Cheese Biscuit
The decadent Scrambled Egg & Cheese Biscuit

Located inside The Cosmopolitan is Block 16 Urban Food Hall, a culinary destination popular with foodies for its quality food and fast-casual environment. One of the stalls located in the food hall is District: Donuts. Sliders. Brew. Other than donuts, sliders, and brews, the food stall serves an assortment of decadent biscuits, donut sandwiches, burritos, kolaches, and other sweets. One of the more popular items on the menu is the Croque Madame ($9.00) served with ham, havarti cheese, dijon mustard, béchamel, and a sunny-side up egg. As for me, I prefer to order the Scrambled Egg & Cheese Biscuit with Turkey Breakfast Sausage ($9.00). Its fluffy biscuit, creamy scrambled eggs, melted cheese, and smoky, rosemary flavored turkey sausage hits the spot for me. If you have the time, be sure to check out Hattie B’s Hot Chicken next door.

Located at The Cromwell is the similarly named Eatwell at the Cromwell. This walk-up food counter serves quick yet affordable gourmet meals and snacks including pizza, sandwiches, salads, and sweets. They also serve an assortment of $10 breakfast sandwiches. Breakfast sandwiches are served on either a butter croissant or brioche bun. The signature sandwich, The Cromwell ($10.00), is made with chewy and tender bacon, scrambled eggs, and gooey American cheese on a flakey butter croissant. This rich and filling sandwich, served all day, would be perfect after a few drinks.

The colorful, and flavorful, Sausage & Egg Slider

Nacho Daddy, located just off the Las Vegas Strip on Harmon Ave, is the fifth and final stop at the Miracle Mile Shops. This restaurant is popular for their Mexican food including nachos, enchiladas, and tacos. While the nachos are worth a visit, I come for the brunch which is served everyday from 8:00AM to 2:00PM. Brunch items include huevos rancheros, french toast, bacon-cheese enchiladas, and chilaquiles. For something cheap and deceivingly filling, go for the Sausage & Egg Slider ($8.95). This colorful and flavorful slider is made with a sausage patty topped with an over medium egg, cheddar cheese, corn chips, and pico de gallo. On the side, your choice of mild, medium, or hot salsa.

12 – Greenberg’s Deli

If you are looking for one of the best Reuben sandwiches in Las Vegas, then look no further than Greenberg’s Deli. This New York-style Jewish deli is located along the Village Street Eateries inside the New York-New York Hotel. While most visit for the sandwiches, you’ll also find a limited breakfast menu served daily from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. While options are limited, you can’t beat the price, especially if you want pastrami or corned beef for breakfast. All breakfast choices, served with coffee or hot tea, are $6.95. Items include a Croissant Sandwich, NYC Deli Burrito, Pastrami & Egg Bagel, and a Vegetable Burrito. As for me, I order the NYC Deli Burrito ($6.95). This burrito is made with tender pastrami and corned beef, fluffy eggs, and Swiss cheese served in a soft, warm tortilla. If you want breakfast with a taste of New York, then Greenberg’s Deli hits the spot without breaking the bank.

The final stop on our list of the best cheap breakfast on the Las Vegas Strip brings us to 48th and Crepe. This small food counter, located near Greenberg’s Deli in the Village Street Eateries, is popular for their freshly prepared crepes and waffles. Whether sweet or savory, you are sure to find something on the menu under $10. Want something sweet? I recommend the Chocolate Banana Crepe ($9.95) made with Nutella, fresh bananas, whipped cream, toasted hazelnuts, and Hershey syrup. If you prefer something savory, go for the Bacon and Egg Crepe ($9.50) with applewood bacon, scrambled eggs, and Swiss cheese with a drizzle of creamy crème fraîche.
